To bring honor to the triune God and His only begotten Son Jesus Christ through a knowledge that either produces cognizant assent or dissent.

“The mystery of God, Christ, in Whom are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge hidden.”

Colossians 2:2-3

Commemorative Justice eBook

If there is an omniscient and omnipotent God, Who created everything out of nothing, why would He make a world with so much evil and suffering when supposedly could have done differently? Though many try to explain our present predicament upon the will of man, from the ultimate perspective the onus is on God to explain Himself, especially since He does not need man or the rest of creation to be content.

The answer to this all-important question depends upon what it means for God to be the Truth and the Good. In consisting of three conscious perspectives within one intellect and will, God must in a self-contained manner exhaustively know and love Himself as His own neighbor in being Divine. Otherwise, He would cease to exist, which is impossible. Thus, in an act of self-preservation, God celebrates and honors Himself in the highest conceivable way through the greatest means possible. This all-sufficient act of the triune God giving His own due in love, whereby everything is explained, is denoted by the author as “Commemorative Justice”. The necessary compliment is the man Jesus Christ.

“God has made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure in which He purposed in Him unto the dispensation of the fulness of times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and things upon the earth. In Him.”

Ephesians 1:9-10

In Him, the three Persons of the Godhead from all eternity unto everlasting conceive and beget themselves through a righteous imagination of agape love as their own self-conscious Persona - the Son - to innocently become the object of their own wrath and save one another through sacrifice, But why? So that through the display of a perfect obedience to their own law of loving themselves as God and neighbor, the justness of the Divine existence is sufficiently glorified. And for this reason, the triune God and the pre-incarnate Son predestined, created and sustain every jot and tittle for this to be the best and only possible world with all its evil and suffering as the theatre of their love story. For which, the fall, redemption and damnation of men serves better than the rest of creation.

If this is true, how is life fair? Would this then make God the author of evil and malevolent for punishing creatures who could not do otherwise? And if He is the cause of all things, is God the only reality and thereby making everything else a lie? How can this unique Son be God and man in some sense? Can anything be both eternal and finite? What is a self-conscious Persona? Why are some men saved and not others? How does one become saved? Why is there a hell for those who do not believe in Jesus Christ the Son of God? And what does it mean to believe in Him? If these questions and others are of interest, then you will want to read Commemorative Justice for the answers.

The book is presented first with a positive statement of the thesis, followed by an exposition, and then answers twelve major objections. It closes with a chapter titled Justification of Knowledge.
